The members of the Woodsmoke Brigade enjoy helping Scouts and Scout leaders experience what life was like in the fur trade era, between the years of 1825-1840. Woodsmoke Rendezvous provides a wealth of learning opportunities for those interested in the "old ways" - cooking in Dutch ovens over open fires, starting fire with a flint and steel, or teaming up to use a crosscut saw. We hope that the "kittens" of today will apply what they learn at Woodsmoke to become more self-reliant and willing to share their knowledge with others.

Troops must camp in in their assigned areas. Scoutmasters, please do not allow your troop to erect anything outside your designated camping area.
